Attorney Daryl Von Yokely's Macon Office
Attorney Yokely has been in private practice law since 1984. He is no stranger to Macon-Bibb County. He worked here as an attorney during the 90's. He is back in Macon and is giving back to Macon. He is determined to make a difference in the community this time around. That is why he opened up his law practice on Pio Nono Avenue and called it The Neighborhood Law Group.
The Neighborhood Law Group was once the home of a Title Pawn Shop, but now there are no indications of anything except Attorney Daryl Von Yokely's personal injury practice. He went in and gutted and renovated the entire place. Yokely will only be handling personal injury cases.
"Some People questioned my reasoning for opening up a law practice in this area. My response was and still is, that is where the people are. People need to know they are cared about. They should feel welcome when they are in your presence, regardless of their address."
Yokely partnered up with OverTyme Bar and Grill Restaurant this past Thanksgiving and donated over 700 turkeys to the community. This past Easter, Yokely partnered with 107.5 DJ Clydel Price to make sure the children in the community has a great Easter by buying all of their Easter accessories. The big Easter egg hunt was held at L.H. Williams Elementary School. This June Yokely will continue in his giving back to the community by having a can food drive for the local food banks.
Yokely is from a very strong and independent family. Being from an entrepreneurship family gave him the necessary tools he needed to get to where he is today. He wants to help others achieve their goals.
"It feels so good to have set a goal and to have it come true. I feel blessed; I want to assist others in making good decisions so their dreams can also come true. Hosea Williams, Civil Rights Leader, said it best, "Unbrought and Unbossed."
The Neighborhood Law Group's hours are Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.
